Context

Associação Portal do Amigo is a nonprofit organization working across different social initiatives, including youth employment, support for young mothers and children, and assistance for families living in vulnerable conditions. The organization needed to establish a visual identity from the ground up while remaining flexible enough to represent its different areas of action.

Problem

Without an established visual identity, the organization needed a brand that could communicate warmth, credibility, and belonging while remaining versatile across different social initiatives.

Concept

The symbol combines the shape of a sun with the letter “A” from Associação.

The sun represents hope, transformation, warmth, and the idea of creating better possibilities for the people supported by the organization.

Color System

Rather than relying on a single color, the identity uses a strategic color system to distinguish different areas of action.

Blue represents youth and professional development.

Green represents education and learning.

Coral and orange represent initiatives focused on young mothers and children.

This approach allows the organization to maintain a consistent visual identity while giving each initiative its own visual territory.
