startup threads
Branding challenge for a startup news platform, developed for NoLimit Creatives — USA.
00
Context
Startup Threads was developed as a branding challenge for NoLimit Creatives, a US-based on-demand design company working with clients around the world. The challenge was to create a complete visual identity for a startup-focused news platform within a limited 4–6 hour timeframe.
Problem
The brand needed to feel modern and credible while speaking to founders, entrepreneurs, and professionals working in the startup ecosystem. It also needed a consistent visual language that could work across both digital and physical touchpoints.
Concept
The visual concept was built around the idea of interconnected threads — representing the constant exchange of ideas, people, and information within the startup ecosystem.
The logo uses typographic negative space within the letters h, p, and d, creating a distinctive visual detail while keeping the overall mark simple and adaptable.
Visual Identity
The color palette combines different shades of green to connect the brand with innovation, startups, sustainability, and growth.
Primary colors:
#1F4948
#48C5AF
Supporting colors:
#74E7D5
#24A990
#0B8B71
Applications
The identity was developed across multiple touchpoints, including:
Primary and reversed logo applications
Desktop and mobile web interfaces
Outdoor advertising
Stationery
Apparel
Outcome
The project was developed within the challenge timeframe and demonstrated my ability to make fast design decisions while maintaining consistency across a complete visual system.
The work advanced to the interview and final stage of the selection process at NoLimit Creatives.
